When I joined Intelligarde in 2000, I dreamed of becoming
a Police Officer. I took every course offered and got
lots of experience in the field. I joined the K-9 Unit
and rose up through the ranks from a
Field Training Agent (FTO), to a Problem Resolution
Agent (PRO) and finally a Duty PRO. Today I am a Toronto
Police Officer. I
did it! All thanks to you, Intelligarde.

 In
May 2006 I realized my chilhood dream when I graduated Royal
Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)
training.
I worked in Intelligarde's Mounted Unit for almost 2 years,
where I learned all the basics of dealing with Police horses,
including obstacle-course
competitions, parades, and mounted patrolling.There's nowhere
else besides Intelligarde where
I could have prepared
to become an RCMP Officer.

When I came to Canada four years
ago, the job market was a lot less accessible to immigrants.
With my thick East-European accent, I thought I had no chance
to get employed by a company as reputable as Intelligarde.
To
my surprise I was not only hired, but spoiled with great shifts,
demanding sites, exceptional partners, and friendly help.
My
Intelligarde colleagues and superiors were all highly motivated
individuals. I found that Law Enforcement fits my character
like a glove. Now I am hired as Community
Patrol Officer with the Metropolitan
Housing Authority. Intelligarde showed me
who I was and helped me build a character to match my aspirations.
